Hi, can anyone out there recommend a good folding camping chair that's high backed and comfortable to sit in for longish periods! Have bought some cheap ones in the past and they have ended up in the bin!

Any replies would be welcome thanks

Hi James.

              We use a couple of "Lafuma Champ Elips Padded", superb chairs and very comfy, they fold quite flat for what are a full size chair, they are also available in a wide size for those seeking even more comfort!, anyway you can just about make them out in my most recent gallery pic, hope that helps.

We bought our chairs from Jacksons of Arley and are really pleased with them.  They are Quest 'Sandringham'.  Very comfy, and they do a larger version too.  The smaller ones are still big enough for our very big bottoms though.  They retail at about £35 each (for the standard size) and about £42 for the larger version.

Cheaper than the Lafuma chairs, dont forget to look at "chub" fishing chairs. High back and adjustable on many levels depending on spec. Very happy with mine despite really buying it for the wife!!
