I loved those boots that Ortis had on...£130 though- phew 17

That sat-nav Ortis had didn't exactly cover itself in glory, did it? "We contacted the manufacturer and even they can't get it to work!" 17

The other satnav wasn't all that either  - he claiemd the SD card popped out when he fell.  Er so if popping it back in didn't do the trick then there's something amiss.  It looked good but gets some bad reviewes on Amazon for being flaky when jarred.

The Mountain Equipment tent was great !

 I can just see us in that , with the dog with his head poking out through the 'hole' in the side , he'd look like a weird sort of tortoise 17

We use the satmap 10's in a search and resuce team, and have found them to be fantastic and durable....

I think the point was that he didn't notice that the card had come out, so he couldn't pop it back in. He'd lost it! Operator error.

i think his point was that he'd lost the SD card with the zoomed maps on... 

it's getting like Top Gear where the 'challenges' are staged and always end up going down to the wire.  but Top Gear does a much better job!

I agree TC, their was no need to fake losing the SD card, i've used SD cards for years and never lost one like that?
