Any recommendations please for a decent lidded thermal insulated mug. There's nothing worse than a rapidly chilling brew when you're cooking the bacon outside the tent in a morning!!!
For a good cup get a couple from your local BP garage Wild Bean Cafe.
I got given one of these a couple of years ago and your drink is still hot 1hr 30mins after.
It is the best insulated mug I have ever owned and I have owned a few.
Webtex military ones - fantastic. I use them for work so I can take chili, or soup, or stew and what have you with me to work, and it's still sufficiently warming by lunchtime 6 hours later! £5 or so each, ebay. Same as the Lifeventure ones that are sold for £7.99! Just type Webtex flask into ebay.

Try to get one with a steel interior, the heat always seems to make plastic ones taint the drink, and goodness what it does to you!
Have to agree, we have to use these cups in school if we want a drink whilst on playground duty, the coffee tastes disgusting in the plastic ones.
