Well there is a very good reason to this and unfortunatly not a great one

Rumours are that Blacks are about to go down the pan. so you might get some good deals at the moment. the one in bluewater shopping centre had some good deals. but the stores freespirit and o'neill had gone under as well.

Our local Blacks is selling at 50% off too, although they had very little stock left when I went in recently. We have a Millets too, so it will be interesting to see what happens there- stock and staffing-wise....the Blacks is a much bigger store.

I agree with Sid- it's so sad to see folk losing jobs at any time but it seems particulary prevalent just before Christmas.The only time I was ever made redundant was a very late November a decade ago. Fingers crossed that those involved in this collapse get re-employed swiftly.
