I think it will depends on what power the EHU is,a lot of domestic kettles are over 2000 watts,heres a chart from a member on here for help with power consumption.

I would seriously consider buying a low wattage kettle for using in the caravan. Some domestic kettles pull 10 amps so on some sites you could have a problem. OK a low wattage kettle takes a little while longer to boil but, hey, you are away relaxing so whats the rush!

As David says, especially if you plan to go abroad, some French sites only have 6 amp supplies.

We got a low watt kettle, it might take a few minutes longer to boil but we arent in a rush. It is small enough to fit in the overnight bag for the ferry.

always used a normal cheapo argos brand kettle for van, so far never had a problem with trip or outage. Did look at the low volt option once a good friend and fellow caravaner told us not to bother. I think you will be bothered when it does trip on a low amps site at night and they will not reset it until the morning.your neighbours will not be happy either.

                 I got one of the travel kettles from Lidl back in May, it came with two cups not bad for £7, although the must have Travel Kettle, has to be the Kenwood from JLP, I just hope it's in the Jan sales.
