I am thinking of getting a table top freezer to use in van due to the fact that I live in it most of year while working, can anyone recommend a good but cheap one to use. thanking you all in anticipation of your replies

Hi - We have an Engel fridge/freezer, and use it as a freezer solely. We run it off mains power most of the time , but sometimes run it off our leisure batteries (which are topped up with a solar panel) We are very pleased with it, as it means we can stock up with frozen food, for long trips, then do not have to go shopping very often. Look in www.engelfridges.co.uk They also sell Waeco fridge/freezers. Neither are cheap, but well worth having in our opinion.
we also live in the van virtually all year , we have an Electrolux RM400, its like a chest fridge but can also be used as a freezer, these are 3 way ie 240v/12v/gas but not cheap ( picked ours up second hand ) on reflection you and we would probably be better of with one of the domestic table top freezers as all the caravan/camping designed ones as far as I know are only 2 * and are not reccomended for actually freezing items only storing already frozen stuff, where as the domestic ones that I have seen in comet/curry's were like proper houshold freezers........Mark
