Hi

I have moved from caravan to motorhome, i have been looking at some of the drive-away awnings, i quite like the look of these Movelites Pro, which is best size for Volkswagon T5

http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=movelite+pro&hl=en

has anyone used these types and how good are they.

If anyone has any better suggestions give me a shout

Michael, NRAwnings don't do a lightweight driveaway like the Movelite.

Nick, is your T5 a van conversion or coachbuilt? The link you have given is to next years models and they don't give details of the height range, but generally the normal size is for a van conversion and the XL for coachbuilt.

Also, you need to decide how you are going to attach it - does your van have a gutter?

Most people I know who have had the Movelites have been pleased with them, but they are quite difficult to erect solo and are really a two person job, by all accounts.

thx for the info,

the van is a conversion and dosent have gutter rail having, spoken to some1 at camperlands they recommended i fit a j rail to attach the awning to the van.  he explained i needed the smaller version probably themovelite  kamper it is bigger than last years model and with a attachable bedroom annexe and with the van not being big enough for 4 of us to sleep in seems the best option. shame i have to wait till next march to see, but i maybe see something in meanwhile and i doubt if i will be away before easter

Lol, Michael, I'll let you off this time. 17

If you haven't got a gutter and need to put one on, I'd go for a proper caravan awning rail rather than a J rail (which works like a gutter) as I could never get the figure of eight connection to stay in the gutter - it kept falling out.

As well as Outdoor Revolution, look around at other makes such as Khyam, Outwell, Sunncamp and others.
