it is a blue, chest type 'frige I haven't tried it on gas as yet.

it was plugged into the mains, My Wife opened the lid and found that it had defrosted .the red warning light iluminates and the solenoid ? clicks in but their is no cooling

I have just received email from Graham at suncamp who confirms that the warranty is only 12 months and that 'I am on my own' on the prospect of repairs as I suspect that they probably can.t get spares for the 'friges they sell

The fridge you mention costs around around £140 which might be your best bet if you don't want to mess around.

If it works on 12v while driving in your car & on gas but won't work on 240v mains then suspect the 240v heating element.

You can buy these for caravan fridges for £30 odd & they are easy to fit. You will have to do some googling to see if they are available for yours. You should find makers name on fridge somewhere.

Under the sale of goods act it doesnt give a time, well apart from 6 years! All this out of warranty is rubbish, I wish they would tell people the truth. If you take them to a small claims court the judge would agree that it should last a lot longer than 2 years, you get your costs plus fridge repaired from the supplier. Please have a read on the sale of goods act, just google it & it will open your eyes.
