Sorry to jump in on this thread but...............
Gary (2gocampin) I have been trying to contact you by e-mail several times this week re a cheque - could you please check your e-mail and reply to me asap?
I have been looking for a porch awning - but what's happened to all the small ones? Every one I can find seems "supersized" like the one Terry mentions above. That's very nearly as big as the three-quarter size awning we use as our "big" awning!
I only want a little thing that will go over the door and allow storage of wet boots in winter, while keeping the weather off the door. A couple of years ago that kind of thing seemed to be everywhere, and for not very much money (£75-ish) - now all the manufacturers seem to have made their designs bigger, and doubled the price into the bargain.
So, any pointers for a true small porch awning for less than £100?

This is probably too flimsy for what you have in mind, but it struck me as being good value to stop rain blowing into the porch - depending on the size of the tent, of course. It'd fit my tent, but would not be much good for cooking under, as no shelter from sidewinds.
Just noticed the avatar. Don't tell me a rugged Ranger of the North is worried about such refinements as porch awnings? I'm more of the hobbit persuasion myself.
Didn't notice it was caravans you were referring to - that's how much of a beginner I am...
Heh heh - my knowledge of names of caravans, mobile homes etc is woefully inadequate... I shall have to do some homework! You never know, I might just come up on the Premium Bonds one day - then I'll be off to Campervans R Us!
