Hi we got this last year but try as we might can't get the gas to fit onto the grill, has anyone else had this problem or have we got a dodgy one? had it since last year so can't take it back as dont have receipt, or should I be cheeky and try to get a replacement? still have the box and everything.  It looks like it would be be quite usefull if we could get it to work any one else any views on them? Thanks

Silly point, but have you made sure that the 'lock' mechanism is open?  thats the bit you twist round after fitting the gas canister.

Is this like a single burner suitcase stove where the gas canister goes inside the cooker?
If so it has a stop bar that will stop you pushing the canister home if the gas knob (on off warm hot) is not right off.

I think its one of these.

Sorry no expereince of them, but those canisters are usualy easy to attach to stuff.

Yes it is that, does the locking thing still apply then? I know its a puzzle to me why the thing wont go on, was looking forward to a bit of brekkie on it

I've got one of those. Open the locking coller push the canister in then close the locking coller and hey presto it's ready to go. I found it a bit tricky at first but soon got the hang of it.

i am foaming because i bought one of these at go outdoors yesterday for £30 thought it was reasonable at that..... went to a local retailer, sho is normally quite expensive & found the same grill for £20....... aggghhhhhh
