what are the pro's and cons leaving your blinds down for a long period of time, if they become loose to wind up can't you just tighten them back up again with a screwdriver
Why are people asking this question??? new to vans what difference does it make up or down???? why would you need to retention the blinds, totally lost here. Seems to me that the blinds are made to be up or down and I cant see why there would be a problem up or down am I missing something here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leaving the blinds down for long periods can weaken the return springs on the blind which makes it hard to roll back up again hence the dilemma.

Everyone has different opinions, even to the extent that some users remove all soft furnishings to deter thieves too.
As per above, I keep my blinds up but simply flip the cushion seats upside-down and drop the seat backs forward too, then no problem with fading on proper surface/fabric.
