Whilst browing on tent-tents.com (Hypercamp/Obilisk) I came across this.

Inflatable floor groundsheet

http://www.tent-tents.com/overzichtpagina3.asp?cat=4&id=69&arid=4110

They also have tent carpet - not the fluffy stuff like Outwell etc but a woven type like we have for use with our Cabanons.
I know they will ship tents to the UK and am hoping they will send other things at not too high a price (off to investigate postage costs).

Would you fancy the inflateable gorundsheet?

It looks like a bit of a trip hazard to me.

The bucket groundsheet in our Litchfield Creek works in a similar but non-inflatable way, the sheet goes a few inches up the wall of the flysheet  However, that sheet is fitted so you don't need to step over the raised part when you're moving about inside, and the sections by the doors can be flattened so that you're not constantly stepping over the thing to go in and out.

On the over hand you could use it as a big shallow paddling pool.

I thought it was for sleeping on till I read it.
Not thinking of buying one Ange lol

I did figure out they will post to UK for an extra 4,95 Euros on to of the 8 euros normal P&P

Tents are good as it 24,95 Euros plus the 4,95 extra and I was seriously tempted by a tent or two on there.

Too right, it's a dangerous activity this camping lark, it's amazing how many people you see erecting tents without hard hats on

I was thinking more of the nuisance factor than safety.  If we used something like this I'd be the one forever tripping over it.

Wouldn't it be like walking across a bouncy castle, I can imagine things falling over as you walk past and move the air around. As for hardstandings.....  But maybe all that has been thought out.

I thought it was just a wall which acted as a bucket ground sheet. It is not inflated under foot. I thought it was a very sensible, cheap alternative
