Something like that is certainly worth getting..if you've paid for the hook-up,it may as well be used.. (..altho' I dare say,any site owners reading this wouldn't want everyone switching to 'em!...)

,,and as they tend to hold their heat you can turn them off 5+mins before the end of cooking(..ideal if you want to put the kettle on as well,without it tripping..)
