I want to replace the Truma Therme in my Hobby 540UK Touring Caravan so I can occaisionally visit sites without EHU and be reasonably self sufficient in hot water.

I appear to have a choice of :-

Truma Ultrastore 10L/14L GAS & ELEC

Propex Malaga 3E 13.5L GAS & ELEC

Henry GE 9L GAS & ELECTRIC

Both Malaga and Ultrastore will be a tight fit under front seat box (420mm wide *335 high * caravan width ) and will require re routing cables, water pipe & warm air hose & trailer junction box.

Has anyone installed/used a Henry GE (based upon modified Carver 2).

I was going to fit Propex Malaga but it is heavy and would be a tight fit and I do not have many other suitable locations.

The Henry GE is smaller, lighter (only 9L) and would leave sufficient room but do not know of anyone who has fitted one so do not know if they are reliable and well supported.

I have the same problem with an Adria Altea.

I would like to go for the Henry based on its size and how quickly it heats the water but I assume they are made in China ? and may not be as reliable as the Truma which has a stainless steel tank.

Did you find anything out about reliability and spares availability from another source as you don't seem to have got a reply on this forum ?

Any information would be gratefully received.

Cheers,Difflock
