I am looking at getting some roof bars for my Audi A6 avante, it has the the solid roof rails. I like the look of the wispabars as they appear to have connectors that fit into the predrilled holes on tha rails to make them nice and secure.

Has anyone got these bars? what are they like? how wide are the bars themselves as I wish to use Thule cycle carriers on them.

I have an a6 avant and I use thule foot pack and roof bars for 4 bikes. They lock into the pre drilled holes and very secure, just be careful as it is really easy to scratch the roof rails, which I did when taking the whole assembly off on my own.

I am changing jobs now so changing cars too so if you are interested in the thule foot pack for the A6 Avante 2006 model make me an offer - usually £65!
