Has anyone got experience of the Royal Aviator folding camp chairs?

http://www.royal-leisure.co.uk/product/Aviator_Black_355371

We are after a couple to keep in our folding camper and these look like a good alternative to the 'normal' design of folding chair. Mechanism looks a bit different with a more upright seating position and padded arms.

Several places seem to have them on offer at the minute, about £45 for 2 inc delivery, but my local camping shop doesn't have any for us to try first. And on-line reviews seem thin on the ground.

So, any users recomend them? Are Royal chairs usually well built? Do they fold up as well as a conventional design?

Only to say that the Royal Commander get better reviews. More expensive though.

Definately a fair weather camper. I don't like rain. Rain + Tent = Trouble.

anyone looking for these now and Royal have stopped making them, a real shame as they are probably one of the best and most comfortable cahirs for the pack size.

we managed to get the last one at an online shop called camp freddy based in Herne Bay Kent

a really nice owner to do business with = 5 stars
