That depends on where you are camping, some areas are better than others. We have tried most of the fold out, ring and telescopic type aerials as well as the boosted type and to be honest we found them all much the same.
In the end we went for an outside setup with an Image Vision Plus aerial and pole attached to our trailer which is the best picture we have ever had.
The Image Vision Plus aerials are available in UHF, the 530/18 and the 530/18-2 UHF/VHF/FM & Digital so worth checking on the model as they do look quite alike. I believe the earlier UHF will pick up Freeview channels but I dont know if thats just for now or not. The one we have is the 530/18-2 which you can pick up for around £26.00.
