We purchased an Intex Queen size airbed recently. Our existing 12V pump didn't fit with the 3 nozzles, so we purchased a 'Sidewinder' 12V pump from a camping shop (£8.99). The motor is quite powerful and pumps the bed up fast. The largest nozzle (which isn't tapered) just pushes in a little to get air in but you have to hold it in place.
I made a long (about 8 meters) 12V cable with cigarette adaptor both ends (car end is male, tent end is female). You can get the cable and adapters from Maplin, but make sure you wire up positive and negative correctly. This then allows you to pump the airbed up in situ (in the bedroom).
Our Intek airbed has a quick deflate nozzle (the valve comes completely away from the bed), but you can't get the pump to suck all the air our (the valve is one way) and the quick deflate aperture is way too big for the pump nozzle). So you have to resort to the tried and tested way of squeezing all air out by the manual method.
