Just thought I'd let you know we just bought an active double aerobed for £54.99 from Argos I thought this was a good buy. They seem to be slightly more from most places.
I thought if anyone was eying them up, Argos is a good place to buy.

If you read my previous thread about Coleman reliability you'll know we've not had much luck with airbeds.... Hope this breaks our curse lol... We'll see!

i bought an Aerobed 'evergreen'  in Dunelm a while back and seems pretty comfy laying on the floor in the lounge.  My hubby would probably prefer the 'Active' though!   lol.  Hope you have more luck than you did with your Coleman one.  Its almost like luck though as most people seem okay with those Coleman ones, and we still have the same nasty old rubberised cotton one which we bought about 18 years ago and still doesn't have a hole in it - just got fed up with it taking so long to blow up!!!

When are you taking it out?  We are testing ours at May day bank holiday with a new Kampa tent so very excited!

I hear the rubber ones are still the best!
I really hope this active is as good as they say.

Do you have to get active on an active? lol

I'm itching to get out and was trying to talk the fam into this weekend but they say it's too cold and I had to give in and agree lol

So May bank hol it is for us too... I think I'm gonna book somewhere, never booked before but never been in the may bank hol either as we're new to camping from last summer.
Do you book or just turn up?

Hi Gembo

I don't think its strictly essential to get active on your new 'active airbed!!!!

Have you blown yours up yet and laid on it to see how comfy it is??

I always book nowadays as most campsites get booked over weekends especially in good weather (we hope!) and always at bank holidays.    The campsite search facility on here is so great as you get different viewpoints on the same site.  We have been on the beach here today as its been so good so fingers crossed for us on May bank holiday.

LOL! I think OH would like to think so!

Yeah... I thought it would be best to book... I would rather just decide at the time b/c of my health (I have MS) and I never know how I'm going to feel. But it's just not practical really.

Hope you've had a great day, we've really enjoyed the weather today, so YES fingers crossed!

Forgot to say we're going to try the bed later. The pump needed 24 hour charge.
I can't wait, I hope it stands up to the excellent reviews!

Thanks for the tip Gembo.  I too have bought one from Argos.  Have slept on it in the living room.  Very comfy, and quick to inflate and deflate.  One thing puzzles me... why is the bag big enough for two Aerobeds?  Or did I roll it up too tightly?
