The benfit of this type of heating is that as long as you are near enough to the heater, you fell nice and warm, though not such a good way of heating a room up as it doesn't warm the air directly like a fan heater or a central heating radiator. It will heat the room, just not so quickly.
They are good for instant heat, the advantage is that you don't need to heat the whole tent to a higher temp to feel warm, but if you move away from the heater then it can feel quite a bit colder.
This one says 1.5 kw, which is 1 and half typical bars on an electric fire, if you have ever sat in front of one - which probably many people don't any more :-)
Never used one of these though. This is just theory :-)
