We have a smaller tent for weekend camping and rather than take our campbeds, are wondering if air beds would be a better idea. We have a double one for the kids but would need one for us. Was in Costco tonight and saw an Intex queen sized one for £30 + vat. Anyone got any opinions on which to go for or if this one is any good?

Thanks!

Hi, I cant comment on the one you saw, but I got this one in the single version for myself and it was lovely.  I was wary as I have a bad hip and sometimes I hurt when I get out of my own bed.  I wasnt looking forward to having to sleep on a (possibly deflating) airbed.  But it was great.  Quite warm as the top is flocked and feels very sturdy due to the structured walls.  We did have to put a bit more air in the following night, but not so much as it would make a big difference. And its £34.99 in Argos.

You can pick the above mentioned one up in a Double size for around £26, i found Argos to be really expensive for the outwell ones, much cheaper on ebay and a few camping shops.

hi,we purchased an intex Queen size inflatable mattress and it's great. You can set the firmness of the mattress to what ever you want,so yeh we would definatley say it's fantastic and realy comfi as well. And with it being 56cm off the floor it makes it so much easier to get on and off.
