we also use the Stelia lantern , very bright. But we also have a little Coleman F1 Lantern and use these torches sometimes:

three strings of battery powered fairy lights...lovely ambiance and the batteries lasted for about a fortnight!

For outside we use poundland special solar lights, one either side of door or the guy ropes nr the door, helps not to go flat on your face on that last loo run of the night!

I have a ufo parasol light clamped onto an empty wine bottle - makes a lovely table lamp.

And of course, one of the first jobs after setting up camp is obtaining an empty wine bottle before nightfall!

Exact same... found the poundland ones packed smaller than any of the supermarket ones which was another bonus. Broke a couple last year though so I hope they have them back in...

Noticed today that Sainsburys are doing buy 1 get 1 free on all their solar lighting... including solar fairy lights!
