What si the ground sheet for? I've not used a Vail, but a quick google indicates that the main tent has a SIG?
If you just want a foot print for that then I'd suggest heavy duty polythene (the breathable groundsheet would be expensive, and uneccessary for this) I've recently just bought a 8x4 m roll of 250 micron black polythene sheet from this Ebay seller for about, which I've used o make footprints for 2 of our smaller tents.
Though if I could have been bothered, it might well have been cheaper to get itt from a DIY store or builders merchants
It's tough and easy to cut to size (just a bit smaller than the tent so rain doesn't run under the tent on it.
If you want soem groundsheet for the canopy area then the breathable stuff would be good for that
