hi, we are thinking about purchasing a gelert beyond starview 5 tent, but we cant find any stockists in the wiltshire area that have this model on display. its not even on the gelert website! also cant find any reviews of this tent anywhere (not even here on uk campsite). we just want a bit more than the one picture that all the online shops show. any help would be very greatly appreciated.

Attwoolls south of Gloucester have one on display (or did when I was there two weeks ago- perhaps give them a ring to see) so may be worth a trip for you. Its only 2 mins off junction 13 of the M5 with quite a good accessories shop if you fancy a good mooch while you're there.

I was impressed with the tent, the only thing it lacks imo is a porch.

Hi Adg147,

Did you ever get to see/ buy the Starview 5? Our tent (Coleman BiSpace 400) has just started to fall apart after a fab week in Dorset and the Starview looked a suitable replacement. We are having the same issues at finding one to look at and are tempted to buy without seeing.

 Go for the Vango Icarus 500/600 and I promise you will be thankful you did. It's a doddle to pitch, you can stand up in it, you can get extra's for it and it's a quality piece of kit>
