We bought a set of melamine cups etc. a couple of years ago they are brilliant, but the cups are stained as we have a lot coffee. We have tried allsorts get rid of the stains, any ideas please?
I tried everything on mine too and even neat bleach didn't shift the stains, but Steradent tablets work a treat.
bicarbonate of soda and salt will get rid of your stains
------------- dont get ripped off,buy a damp meter
Thanks David, found just what i wanted in the retro section
Glad you found that useful. They are only a small company - possibly just a couple. We bought ours from there and have been really pleased with it. When I spoke to the chap on the 'phone, he recommended storing the table cloth on the roll it comes on, rather than folding it - if you have room in the van then that is what we do. Wrap it back around the tube, secure with elastic bands and replace it in the plastic sleeve - does the job. Store under fixed bed.
The thing I like about the Melamine sets is that you know you are not going to have all the problems with BPA's and pthalates like you get with plastic.
