Yep it is easy to do. I included it in the length when I booked the ferry but we went Norfolk Lines which were really cheap anyway.

Height is not an issue as it sits below the rear roofline and this also makes it aerodynamic unlike a roof box. No additional fuel used due to drag.

No hassle at all, just one nut with the spanner that they supply then plug in electrics, it takes about two minutes, you just have to be careful you don't overload it.  

Arghhhhh! put me off quickly, its looking expensive!
