HI can any recommend any good lights for tents, don't want to spend loads as have ones for when we have EHU but the lantern things we have are rather poor.

We use the rechargable type with fluorescent tube inside .

The main drawback with the light given off is that it is a bit stark.

They give off very little heat so we tend to wrap a piece of paper around which makes a much more relaxing light.

Hi,I think the UFO lights take some beating, for both the light they give off and the battery life.

I have two coleman lanterns that while not that expensive weren't cheap either, however the best lighting purchase I made was UFO lights out of poundland. I haven't found any in stock this year but got the same out of B & M for £1.49. They give off a much better amount of light than anything I've tried before.

Hi

Can anyone post a link to the UFO lights they have purchased as I have googled but loads of different types come up - are they the round ones with a 3-4 lights in them or are they the fibre optic type?

The ones people are referring to are like these.

You can get them in Wilkinsons for about £3.

Here's a link to the ones I have. Also available from ASDA. They are REALLY good, IMHO.

I use the 60 led ones from ebay they cost £3.60 each delivered from Hong Kong.
I got mine from this seller
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/60-LED-Portable-Lantern-UFO-Tent-Light-Lamp-Flashlight-/220574097406?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Camping_LightsLanternsTorches&hash=item335b3d9ffe

Theres a few other sellers that sell them for roughly the same price, just type 60 led ufo in the search box

I got mine from Asda last year. They are very good and the batteries last a long time. Can't remember the price. Think it was around the fiver.

I am looking for something that i can attach one to so i can use it outside for the table.
Anyone got any ideas?
