I have microfibre travelling towels that dry in no time have them hanging up inside the tent on bungee cords.

At home i like the biggest, thickest fluffiest towels mmmmmmmmmm
Camping the smallest thinnest going. It's not like i sit around in 1 like i do at home.Enough to get me dry is enough, easier to dry this way too.
I have thick shoulder length hair my best reccomendation is a micro fibre head towel, about £2 leave it on for half an hour then my hair is quite dry and the head towel takes no drying.I'm that impressed with these i now use them at home too

The cheap microfibre towels do, these are the ones with a fluffy pile but feel very polyestery. The Gelert or other well-known brand microfibre towels feel more like a chamois leather, but they don't catch on rough skin. They dry you very well, then dry quickly themselves. I wouldn't be without my Gelert ones - well worth the money.

I find that too with the cheap ones! We have the Decathlon ones, they are nice and soft, wash and dry well and not bad prices wise at £9.99. OK size wise too!
The Decathlon ones are great! I bought them for the kids, but they were invaluable when we had a tent flood last year. We had a stream running through the tent, and mud everywhere. I mopped it all up with the kids towels, they absorb an amazing amount, and it wrings out, then they soak up more. I thought I had probably ruined them, but threw them in the washer when we got home and they are literally as good as new. Fantastic bit of kit!
