Hi All , can anyone reccomend a descent small fridge or coolbox for camping , big enough to hold the usual milk ,sausage, bacon etc......

Hi Francais , it's only for UK use i think just now anyway..........i will have a look at the one in Lidle and see what that looks like.

                I am sure the Lidl item will be fine for UK, we go to Southern France during July, for our family camping hols, and stop at the same campsite for two weeks, so we need a portable fridge that can cut the mustard, as temps get well above 30+DegC, to keep things cool we use a Waeco CF25, small but perfectly formed!.

Trust me on this one, go for either a weaco cab 40 or and igloo, I have the w, two of mt friends have the i. They retail at approx £140-170 but are worth every penny. They run off mains at home (24 hrs before you go) and then on 12v en route to the selected site and then the best bit.....off gas when youve pitched your tent.  They work extremely well (about a week on max on one stumpy patio gas bottle). I have to say it's the best bit of kit I own. There's nothing like an ice cold beer once youve pitched as long as the fridge is level, (the igloo has a built in spirit bubble).

Vickivery i trust anyone who own's a Vermont L ...........LOL , cause that's the tent i want for next season , i will have a look at the one's you mention.

Hi KK , I will nip into Aldi's to see what they have , we hope to get away for the weekend at the end of May back up to Blair Atholl , although did you not try Noah's Ark at Pitlochery.....if you did would you reccomend it .

I see you have a few trips planned for this year.........remember i'll be expecting some good pictures from any of the sites you think are good , we are really looking forward to trying out the Kalihari to see how it performs.

You won't believe this but I said to my wife when i showed her the site that i would lay money on that being your tent.............oh it feels good to be right for once......lol........make sure and get a discount on your next visit.....lol
