I have one and although it is quiet the drone can be intrusive if the site is quiet.
There is no point in earthing the generator or using an RCD unless the generater neutral is connected to earth, which it isn't on the Honda EU10i.These generaters are perfectly safe to use as they are.

Above there is mention of a Baffle box to put the generator in...That is correct I use one BUT the genny WILL get hot if in a box without ventilation. SO The solution is to have a hole at the exhaust end of the box As you would....BUT cut another six inch round hole ay the other end of the box and install a six inch bathroom extractor fan / motor with fan blades only... NOW  This only runs while the generator is running. It consumes little power and it stops when the generator stops. Hardly any noise and a cool box. The genny is in a wind tunnel. This works I use this method BUT do not think a noisy genny will be acceptable in a box!!  Only an ex650 or the EU10i will be quiet enough for a camp site and Then as stated above Check with your neighbours on either side. Do that with it running in its box to let then see how quiet it can be..AND offer free battery charging for them! Same goes if you have a dog. A lot of campers do not want a crapping barking dog next door! Even if you do pick up its mess. AND YES I do have a dog but I still check as you don’t need grumpy neighbours.
