There was a post on this in 2007 so I wondered if we could have an update.

I am looking to buy one or the other, what would people recommend from their own experience?  Possibly experience of both?

Cheers.

Can't speak for the Party Grill but we have the Cadac Eazi chef and I wish I had bought it years ago.  Apart from boiling a kettle, I have cooked major brekkies, bbq'd, roasted chicken and lamb (using the lid), grilled lovely cuts of meat, heated pizzas and part-baked croissants.................very versatile.  Downside is that it is rather bulky but we can put up with that!

Other half thinks we should get a party grill as cheaper, but cheaper is not always best.  Is it?

I suppose it depends exactly what you want to do with it.................I think the cadac is possibly more flexible but maybe a party griller will prove me wrong LOL.

I have the cadac carri chef. its great cos it will do virtually everything, but if you only want to do brekki and bbq then youre probably best off with the party grill as its cheaper, lighter and will do both jobs.

I did pizza on mine the other day and burnt it to cinders on the bottom should i have used the difuser plate on it and then the other bits on top of grill or what ever.

I think the party grill is griddle only so good for frying in fat, maybe a bit unhealthy! Cadac is very versatile.

Hi, when I have heated pizza I place on top of the pot-stand so it isn't sitting directly on the base - have on high for a 5 mins or so to heat up then turn down after putting in pizza - it turned out fine.

The Cadac Eazi Chef is a brilliant piece of kit - if you have room for it lol.

We have just changed from an estate to saloon with no roof rails so ours is on freeads
here if anyone's interested!

PartyGrill is healthy - it is a grill not a griddle!   The fat drops through the grill into a water bowl below so it it is very safe too. Occasional flashes from dripping fat give you that bbq taste, too. packs away into a neat bag, and all the bits fit into the dishwasher if you have been using it at home. There is a flat bit on which you can do eggs too!
