I really dont think as pegs they would be that useful, TBH! They have a hole for the guy rather than a hook. I bought a set to shove into the ground to please the kids who are little enough to like anything shiny still. The light-up part is inside the top and they seem as robust as plastic pegs ever do!!

The lights are under the top part that you'd hammer (albeit lightly :) ) in - and they have a hook for the guyline. Anyway, probably sold out by now ;-)

You're right, pphilpot , they do have a hook! I hadn't looked properly. And even if they are proud of the ground at least they are visible, I seem to be able to find those rogue metal pegs that booby trap other folks pitches by getting the hook caught in the holes in my Crocs (I suppose if you can only be bothered to peg out three of the guys you wont be bothered to knock them in!)

The little LED is on a pivot and swings out of the way for banging in and for turning on and off.

Ah , thank you superwoman , I will look out for them next time I'm in poundland. Don't even know why I want them , I have deltas for the guys , but I'll buy anything for a pound I've never come out of that shop with less than a tenners worth of stuff.

probably end up attaching them to nothing at all ,and whack them in next to the deltas , just to have the lights shining at night lol

I bought some, i don't really know why, novelty maybe but thinking about it i might use them just pushed in the ground next to the canopy guys.
I also bought a couple of stuff sacks which will probably be a bit more useful.

I was just thinking the same thing.  Bet they would't last a minute with my lump hammer, whether the lights swing out or not!

Er, I gave in today and bought some, but obviously not to replace the Delta pegs, just for fun!

And another £25 worth of junk from Poundland! Lol

I am sure some of it will come in handy tho, oh I did get the kids headlamps in there today, and the tinyest little picnic blanket (prob use for dog), and some solar lights for the garden!

They may be ideal for marking guy ropes. I used to have a tunnel tent which had two guys at the front which for some reason the entire campsite wanted to trip over and then walk off giggling, leaving me to get out of bed to make sure they hadn't pulled the pegs out!!

Eventually I bought those chemical light sticks and stuck one on each guy at night. Worked, but since they only lasted one night it became expensive.

Illuminated pegs would do the job but I wouldn't trust them on the guys themselves.

I asked the guy on e bay about the price?  he admitted that he bought his from Poundland and ............. well ! every body has to make a living        somebody not from here must by them !

Aldi today had some boot-boxes/ cool bags for £4.99 quite good I think, Also RCD EHU's for £39.99,   and some one here was asking about citronella flares they had some of those in as well £4.99    The offer were on the Sunday 16/05  brochure.

Yes they were from Poundland, i don't know how strong the seams will be but they look ok for £1. I was going to use them for fleece blankets too.
