I kept the fibreglass poles from a ruined tent, {not mine ] and sewed a couple of hems along the sides of a large tarp, fixed polyester string at bottom edge and loops sewn in the opposite end, I could bend them as far as needed to make a front canopy for my tent. ended up adding a couple of extra guys at front and rear sides, again poly string, it kept the door completely clear of rain and wind. brilliant !
