Hi all

Last years Coleman tents had/have low level air vents in them to hold a battery ventilation fan. I'm just wondering if anybody thinks that those vents are large enough/low enough to vent carbon monoxide fumes from using gas inside the tent.

I've just been reading up on this thread and figure that I need to make sure that the ventilation is OK when using a CampingGaz heater and cooker inside my Evolva...

I think having your door open would be enough ventilation for above (although I personally would never cook in tent) can you place the fan so it blows the air inside the tent? Then any fumes would exit from wherever they can. I wouldn't worry too much regarding the fumes, you'd have to be cooking a very long time for them to have any sort of effect. Your not planning on leaving the heater on overnight are you?

No, I'm certainly not going to keep the heater burning overnight. Maybe I'm concerning myself about it too much.

Now, I know that you shouldn't cook inside tents, but these days with larger tents and decent cooker stands it's too tempting...
