Hi my wife has finally got into the idea of campiing with one condition. All food & clothing need to be put into somthing that keeps the bugs out, there 5 of us so that means alot of clothing. I ve looked at stand up units which to be fair are small & very expensive, does anyone have any cheap wonderful alternatives.                          Any help would be appreciated 

Canvas under bed storage bags. I have ones I picked up in a sale for £2 I think, they're canvas but they have a clear plastic bit in the middle. You can stack them on top to save space, and if any of you are in camp beds instead of air beds the canvas bags can go under the bed.

IKEA plastic stacking boxes.  Loads of different sizes.  We have the blue cheap ones for about 70p each for food + clothes.  Get over the bug thing tough.  If they want in, they'll get in!  They are not too bad really.  Only problem we ever had was ants once.

For food - we actually picked up Campingaz Icetime 13 Litre Cool Boxes last year for £10 a piece - we use one for cold stuff and the other for tins, packets, bread, etc. If we need more room we use soft cool bags for tins etc.. The advantage of the boxes is that they are more completely sealed and keep the food dry and cool - useful for packet food as well as cold stuff and veg. They are also a good shape for the footwell and the boot of the car.

We just use our usual large/long £5 holdalls for clothes.
