I have just purchased a Toyota Hi Ace campervan and would like to purchase a Tailgate awning. Does anyone have one for sale or know of where I could get one

PS ...lights eh?One thing to say....AIRBORNE!AIRBORNE!AAIIRRBOORRNE!!Thats three,sorry

PPS..meant in the nicest possible way!

Oh,another thing.Dont assume that because the picture in the ad or on the box shows inner tents and groundsheets that they will actually be included.I had a very disgruntled wife last summer (all three days of it) when I put up the new awning that I had spent out on only to find that unlike the piccies it was just that,an awning. She slept in the truck.I slept on the ground and in the metaphorical doghouse.

We used one of these when we had the Landy.

Our caravan has a rear door and we use the Kyham Sunscreen (modified) for weekends (see our gallery) or the Kyham Driveaway (below) for long stays. This comes with SIG, Footprint, connecting tunnel and inner 2 bedroom tent.

Thanks but I was thinking along the lines of
as we would used a large tent if on site in anycase. I want something to beable to lift the tail gate and make a shoer/toilrt area and somewhere to stand and cook if not on site

Bongo do a wind break

but a bit draughty if one is using the "Netty" as they say up here in the middle of a storm.

So its the top type but new they are expensive

In that case the Caranex (linked above) is the answer.

Just spotted these:

Would need to measure to the top of the tail gate when lifted on the Toyota when we collect it on Tuesday. But these are reasonably cheap at £89 and would probable do the job as an end awning
