Hi there! Can anyone tell me how long the gas cannisters last for, the ones used with the portable 1 ring burner. Have not used it before, and just wondering how many I should take with me for a 3 night trip?

depends on what you are going to use it for really. I used 3 cannisters for 3nights (4days) we only used it for coffees and quick snacks like super noodles, mash etc and washing up water. Hope that helps.

I've a feeling that each canister will last about 2.5 hours if run continuously.

It depends upon the make of canister, the contents vary between 160g and 250g, so the cheapest is not necessarily the most economical.
