Just got myself an Outwell Oakland XL tent. On the first pitching practice, I noticed there are two holes on the bottom of the side door which look like there are used to insert poles when the door is suspended out to form an awning. Does anyone know if this is indeed the case, and if so where these poles are available from.
Hi and welcome .That sounds like they would be used to make a canopy,with guylines attached to hold the poles up. yes .
They are called king poles and come in various heights. The taller the tent the taller the king poles you need.for the oakland you will need the 200cm ones I would think
