can anyone recomend a elec/kettle/heater

do we need to be looking for something specific for camping as to not trip the electric .

Can't speak for kettle as we use a gas one on the stove - the sound is just soooo camping!! As for a heater we just have a small one, think it was from Argos, probably best to go for one with a choice of settings, but nothing too flash.

6 amp=1400w 10amp=2400w 16amp=3600 this are the main ones used normal fan heater and kettle will work on 10amp and 16amp not at yhe same time.you can get low wattage kettles just take longer to boil and cost more you can use a fan heater on a 6amp pitch as long as it is a 2 stage heater say 1000w and 2000w.any will do.

look at the cheap smart price/ value ranges from the supermarkets, you dont really want much more than 1kw. so most of the rapaid boil ranges are a no no as they are very high wattage.

We use ordinary domestic equipement. If we are on a low amp site we work on the "one off before one on " principle and it works fine.
