We bought a couple of the Aldi chairs last year, OK just, but uncomfortable for long periods of time. We are now looking to buy a couple of Royal Commanders or the Quest alternatives for this year.

Have to say that I got two of the SI mats a couple of years ago for the kids and they are PANTS. Not a patch on other SI mats. When you lie on them the 'heavier' areas of your body squash all the air into the leg areas which then inflate like a balloon. I use then uninflated under regular air beds to help insulate them from the ground. I've certainly found ours to be not fit for their intended purpose!
that was my experience of the Aldi SI mat, it is still sitting atop the wardrobe while I decide what to do with it. Thought about freecycle or charity shop but I couldn't inflict such a bad nights sleep on someone
re chairs i brought the ones from asda 2 for £10 and they are ok, i have fouind alot of the cheaper chairs the poles would dig in to my underarms or in the side of my legs, but the asda ones i was pleased with.
looking at the larder organiser for my camping gaz

I have bought the kitchen stand today and tried it out. Not bad for the price. Bought the windbreak last year and still using it this year. I try to restrict myself to one purchase at each shop per year. (meaning aldi, netto, lidl types, proper camping shops are extra). Well I have been camping for years and years and shouldn't still be buying stuff. Well actually I should.. have been using really old kit for so long I think I deserve some new stuff now.
