We have just purchased a tourer, now comes the time to choose an aerial, can anyone give any advice on what to buy, we have been thinking of getting a portable satellite system, do they work ok, can anyone recommend any or would another type be better.

i got a B grade kit from maplins, just the cheap suitcase one, first time setting up takes some time but i can now do it in under 10mins.

Not seen them in Asda, Argos yes.

B&Q have a Ross HD FTA (not Freesat but can receive the same channels) receiver for £69.99 (and - 15% some weekends) complete with dish. Homebase sell the same but dearer.

I have suitcase one, plenty of advice on here to set up. Having worked with sats before my biggest advice would be to make sure it is perfectly level, do not get tempted to point up to the sky.
