Hi, these were reviewed some time ago here but the supplier stopped trading. I have now found a tackle shop that will sell them via Ebay. The seller's ID is premierb0101 he hasn't put them up yet but said he would when I suggested it. I think they will be around £9.99. I've had one of these for years and they really do work which is why fishermen use them. Once empty they can be refilled with any citronella oil and the blue mossie mats you can get anywhere. I found the seller as I was looking for new mats like this
Hope this helps someone.

I nearly went that route, the thing I like about the Clearlite is it's spill proof. We got a free hurricane lamp with some camping gear a while back but it leaked everywhere and I made my husband throw it out. There are good ones out there like Fueuerhand and Dietz but they cost quite a bit. Dietz actually do something similar where there is a blue mat holder that can be attached, the heat from the stove means they get a blast of citronella and whatever the blue mat gives off.
Lol, believe me I need every defence going, mozzies love me but unfortunately I get an allergic reaction so it's belt and braces - mozzie lamp, L'air du Skin so Soft, some Lemon Eucalyptus oil, Deet and I've just treated myself to a tennis racquet swatter thing that fries them.
I need the lot.

Anyone tried the solar powered insect zapper lanterns?
It has a blue light that attracts mozzies & flies same as the lamps you seen in commercial kitchens.
Flies, yes.
Mozzies aren't interested in UV, they're attracted by carbon dioxide.
(They aren't interested in citronella either but don't let that stop anyone using the candles and lamps - they do look nice.)
you will have to hold your breath then no carbon dioxide no mozzies
