Hi,

Having a very old satnav - I've finally had enough of saying "Ignore the device we'll just follow the main road" as it tries to send me down bridleways with a twin axle van, and then having to explain to the wife why I've got a satnav at all.

Finally decided to purchase a Snooper Ventura S2000N  bt I'm a bit cocerned at the number of websites claiming to be 'the official snooper site'. Can anyone tell me what the official site is please, or better still any shops that sell them where I can see it and take it back if I'm not happy ?

Not sure where you are but this shop is in Bristol. They used to have a shop in eceter but it has closed down so not sure if they have any others. Here's the link for the sat nav.

Why not a TomTom....

Well I have had two recently an XL and a GO 950 and both of them continually  locked up leaving me with the TomTom (red hands) screen and no way to switch it off.

The Go 950 is a superb unit offering all I need WHEN IT WORKS so it's totally useless to me.

I do not have the time and patience to format the internal memory, run the clear flash tool, check memory for errors and reload the software ..... about every three times I use it.

To me it is not much better than a piece of junk.

All TT do is to tell me how to do what I have described above. something I can now do in my sleep.

At least this where I registered my S7000. And by the way I've had TomTom's but am more than happy with my Snooper.
