Hello this is my first ukcampsite post and what better topic to start on than a Weber!
We have a Weber Gold at home and love it. Bought it with wedding money 7 years ago and it lives outside. No rust at all. We used it for months one year when our oven indoors broke. The BBQ was so good there was no impetus to replace the oven immediately. We use it for roasting chickens the whole time and they're perfect every time.
We now want a BBQ for camping and have thought about the Smokey Joe or the Go Anywhere as think Weber are such quality BBQs.
Does anyone know if you can roast joints on either or are the lids too low?
Also as roasting in the larger Weber needs indirect cooking (and therefore space to put the briquettes to the side) would there be enough room in the SJoe or GA to do the same?
Would appreciate any input from all you experienced campers.
Thanks! mummyB
