I believe some stoves are designed so that they cannot be operated without the pan support being fitted the right way up to prevent mishaps.

I know that for certain as both of mine are built that way - the gas bottle cannot be engaged without the pan support in the right way up!

that looks like a reasonable price for a stove and gas, also go has the stove at a fiver with a discount card so if you have a store near by may be worth a look

Looks like a very good spec stove, bargain in my book when the price includes 4 cans of gas!!!

I take it the "windshield" refers to a ring around the burner, which is absent in some of the stoves I have seen.

My late partner bought one without it, and he found the flame did get blown out more often than the ones he got that have that feature.

the advert says it comes with 8 cans of gas which makes it even better value

just to update, finally got our stove from Yoemans this week

got the pukka Camping Gaz one with 4 CP250 canisters for £15

not sure if it is a shop only deal but only found out they were doing them for that when I went in to sort out an Outwell Kids Sleeping bag for £10 (another good bargain)

I looked online and no offer, yeomans may  be one of the retailers that wont ship gas in the post as i didnt notice any on their site

The camping exhibition that was running in Codicote was selling 12 Camping Gaz branded cartridges for £10.  That particular exhibition has now closed *but* the same company are running their other annual show in Wokingham so I assume the price will be the same there.

Saw these stoves and gas cannisters in Asda again last week, they are now £7 for four but on a BOGOF deal so 8 for £10.  these last me quite a while, but always buy them when they have them in stock.   I take my stove out of the suitcase and put the case around whichever way the wind is blowing?  I have 2 of these from Asda and they are well worth the cash.
