 We have a small Indel B fridge in our camper but the catch doesn't have an "open" position. The van is used for a short daily commute which isn't enough to keep the battery charged, and as a result mould forms in the fridge on a regular basis.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we can hold the door just open? Are there gadgets out there that we could use.

possibly a child lock will do it.you can leave it open and it will retain the door in transit.

What about tucking a tea towel or similar between the door and the casing.  This way the seal wouldn't be closed and air should be able to circulate.

What about leaving one of those (minds gone blank for the correct name) water attracting plastic boxes with crystals in, in the fridge when not in use.( I'll come back and edit this when I think of what it's called)

Yes, agreed. I wash out my CombiCool with soapy water and bicarb then after I've dried it with a teatowel I go over it again well with kitchen paper. leave it open to air dry for 24 hours and then close it up. It gets left all winter like that and not a fleck of mould.

We stick a big spoon in the freezer bit of the caravan fridge, leave the handle poking out and it keeps the door open...basic, but it works.
