tried this last night and fussier than fussy son gave it 8.5 out of 10, it was good.

gently fry peperoni in lightly greased fry pan.

tesco's tomato and cheese flatbread, add mozz cheese place pepperoni on top.

place all in foild pouch and into frying pan and heat until cheese melted. left foil open alittle to check ocassionaly.

was lovelt and the flatbread was loevly and soft, tried it on ciabata but not in foil but litlle grease fry pan. lovely. just have to watch it does burn base.

if you have a grill on your stove grill it (we don't)

There's always more than one way to skin a cat, & it sounds like you're inventing some lovely dishes in your attempts.
The coleman oven weighs 7 pounds in old money, it looks to me like they were a popular import about 5-6 years ago, (that's after some research on this very site), but you try finding one now! It's nigh-on impossible, believe me, I've tried.
Maybe a few of us should get together & order a few of them from the states & split the shipping costs. They can be had over there for $25-30.
My guess is the camping shops over here stopped importing them as they were probably not very popular, but as attitudes to camping equipment are changing these days (see "is camping middle-class" thread) maybe they'll finally come into fashion, probably at a vastly inflated price though!
For now, I will just have to keep my eyes open, it's far from necessary on my list, but would be nice to have nonetheless.

The Coleman oven has been coming and going for years! I bought ours 30 years ago at a camping shop in Crystal Palace! I'm always a sucker for a gadget, but to be honest it has had limited use. It is very small for the amount of space it takes up even folded. It is difficult to find oven trays small enough to heat it, and unless you have a beefy petrol stove it can be evry heavy on fuel unless you are just heatin things through. Never got rid of it though, and occasionally it gets an outing!

I have the coleman petrol stove! Just want the oven now.
Although I would have to keep it a secret, my friends & family already think I've over-done it with my kit, if they found out I wanted an oven as well I would NEVER hear the end of it!
