Fed up buying chairs, only one way to go in my opinion. Lafuma yes expensive, but mine are now 15 years old and so so comfy. Only replaced the elastics this year with genuine spares now good as new for another 15 years.
And they do an XL for the bigger man. They have one really annoying problem though that I have never be able to solve, every time you get out of the chair to do something, when you get back to it some git will be sitting in it.

The Royal Commander chairs, when folded in the bag are 37"(94cm)high and approx 12" width (38"96cm diametre around the widest padded part and 33"84cm diametre around the legs)

Although the weight limit states 130kg(approx 20stone)My OH is 24stone (6'1")and after having the chairs for 2 years and regular useage there isn't a strain in the fabric, stitching or the metal.

He is very happy with the chairs after much chair testing before getting the Commander chairs.
