Has anyone used or would you recommend using one of these for a fridge in a tent on a 10 amp EHU?

Yes I have, used it in the tent and caravan awning . great , no problems on hookup. it was better than our caravan fridge at keeping things cool.

the second one you linked to is very expensive though .
Mine was
this typebut I paid a lot less, got it from lidls for £50 on special offer a few years ago.

if you are going to be paying that sort of price for one , I would recommend a 3 way combicool instead , that way you have the best of all worlds , you can run on gas electric and off the car battery when travelling.

If you always use hookup, cheaper than the husky ones is a tabletop fridge like this

Huskys are Great fridges for camping, used mine in very sunny and hot France last year, no problems.

they are quite heavy though, I have sold mine now on ebay for about £5 less than I got it for a couple of years ago off ebay.

Have a folding camper now with a in built fridge and also an electric coolbox for the beers. I take a couple of bottles of frozen juice or milk in the coolbox which keeps it cold for several days.
