We normally leave ours outside under a table, when we use the little tent , or in the "awning" with the Cancun.
It often gets very hot inside the tent so having a fridge
in side is not a good idea either.

It was said that a 3way does not use much gas but that flame is constantly on. Ours used a new 904 camping gaz bottle in 5 days and at Shell Island it was £19 to exchange! not a cheap option. Now we run it on a 7Kg Calor and it is turned off at night still plenty cold enough inside the following morning.

We put the bottle outside and the fridge is under the canopy, not a bright idea to use it in a smaller SIG tent. Carbon Monoxide kills and it is odourless.

We power ours off a 5kg BP Light cylinder. It lasts all year and we tend to have it on full 24 hours a day while we're camping. At the end of the year I exchange it when Homebase have a 10 or 15% off day, but there's always some left in it.

CampingGaz refils are a ripoff for the amount of gas you get, but some folk use them because they want to be able to easily exchange them in France.

We use a 6kg calor lite for all our gas stuff, Fridge, Dual burner cooker and cadac chef, Got 16days out of our first bottle.

If i remember i turn the fridge down to low over night.

The tent has got to 35oC and the fridge has stayed below 8oC I have now tweaked it a bit and added two fans to it to improve the performance.

Next week we will test it and see if it makes much of a difference.

Regards

Paul
